R&D services

The team that builds our platform, pointed at yours.

Not a body shop and not an agency. The same engineers who built the trading, CRM and payment systems, available for the problem you have that nobody sells a product for.

The whole cycle, one team

  • Discovery

Work out what is worth building before anyone writes code — the constraints, the integrations, and the parts of the idea that will not survive contact with a regulator.

  • Design

Interfaces for people who do this all day. Density, keyboard flow and error states matter more than a hero image on an internal tool.

  • Engineering

Backend, web and mobile, built to be handed over: documented, containerised, and readable by whoever maintains it next.

  • QA

Automated gates rather than a manual pass before release — the suite that catches the regression is cheaper than the one that reports it.

  • Automation

The manual steps that only work when a particular person is in the office — onboarding handoffs, reconciliation, report assembly — turned into something that runs whether anyone is watching or not.

  • Support

The team stays reachable after launch. Software in finance does not finish; it gets audited, extended and migrated.

How it runs

Five stages, in this order

The sequence is the point. Skipping the first two is how a project discovers its architecture in month four.

  1. Scope

A short engagement to turn an idea into something estimable: the integrations, the compliance surface, the unknowns worth resolving first.

  2. Architecture

Data model, deployment shape and integration contracts agreed before the first sprint, so the expensive decisions are made deliberately.

  3. Build in increments

Two-week cycles against a running environment. You see working software throughout, not a demo at the end.

  4. Harden

Load, failure modes, audit trail and the operational tooling — the work that separates a prototype from something you can run.

  5. Hand over

Runbooks, environments and a walkthrough with whoever takes it on. Ownership transfers properly or it does not transfer.

Working together

Three ways to engage

  • Ongoing product development

    Dedicated team

A standing team on your roadmap, with the same people month to month. Best when the work is continuous and the domain takes time to learn.

  • A defined integration or module

    Fixed scope

An agreed deliverable, an agreed price. Works when the boundaries are genuinely knowable — we will say so when they are not.

  • A team that needs hands, not direction

    Staff augmentation

Engineers inside your existing team and process. You keep the architecture and the backlog; we add capacity.
